A SOLO EXHIBITION
BY HEATHER NODDINGS
An impossible object is a two-dimensional figure which is instantly and subconsciously interpreted by the visual system as representing a projection of a three-dimensional object. The show Impossible Objects creates this implied dimension on flat planes and explores a reality where these two-dimensional figures exist in three-dimensions.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Heather Noddings work focuses on the intersection of technical and natural, often consisting of mathematically precise designs with hand-applied details. Her work gives the viewer the impression of movement with flashing and vibrating patterns, which aim to push and pull the brain to perceive the works in different and unexpected ways.

Her background in experiential design influences her personal practice of art by providing a study in how individuals interact with spaces and objects.
